FABRIC RESEARCH AND TREATMENT
HIGH DENSITY R-NYLON JERSEY, GARMENT DYED _CHAPTER 2: Down vest in a single layer fabric made of 74% recycled and 26% virgin nylon. The high-tension knitting process lends a compact body to the material, combining the comfort of a jersey and the perception of a woven fabric. During the knitting process, the nylon yarns are steamed to generate an organic texture, emphasised by the intense and rich colours of Stone Island’s garment dyeing process. The garment is filled with the finest feathers treated to withstand the garment dyeing procedure. Garment dyed with the addition of an anti-drop agent.
